Hello everyone and Happy new year 2022! 🥳🥳
How are you? How was Christmas?
We hope they went great and you opened a lot of gifts.
Today at Beysic to celebrate the new year we want to present you the 2022’s color will represent according to Pantone.
As many of you know, Pantone was the first company to create the first color identification system in 1963. The advantage of this system is that each of the samples is numbered and once selected it is possible to recreate the color exactly.
Last year for the first time, Pantone chose two colors that would represent the year 2021 which were:
- Ultimate Grey – Pantone 17-5104
- Illuminating – Pantone 13-0647
For this new year he has chosen the color: Very Peri – Pantone 17-3938
“A New Pantone Color Whose Courageous Presence Encourages Personal Inventiveness And Creativity.” – Pantone
The Very Peri color represents for Pantone the transformation of the physical and digital world. A transformation that has emerged rapidly during the pandemic. A change that has brought new possibilities in the digital world and, from Pantone, have wanted to capture through the new color of 2022.
“As we move into a world of unprecedented change, the selection of Pantone 17-3938 Very Peri brings a novel perspective and vision of the trusted and beloved blue color family, encompassing the qualities of the blues, yet at the same time with its violet red undertone, Pantone 17-3938 Very Peri displays a spritely, joyous attitude and dynamic presence that encourages courageous creativity and imaginative expressions.”
Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute.
Choosing the color of the year involves a deep analysis and study of trends, which include different industries such as leisure, entertainment, movies, art, fashion, design in all its parts, tourism, trends in games, etc. These influences are determined by new technologies, materials, textures, social media platforms and even major sporting events.
“The Pantone Color of the Year reflects what is taking place in our global culture, expressing what people are looking for that color can hope to answer,” added Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute.
Very Peri is a color full of possibilities.
It is a cheerful and very versatile tone capable of giving an extra freshness to any look, in addition, it can be used through small accessories if you do not dare to wear it on your clothes.
Do you already have it in your dressing room? 🤩
